On 09 October 2007 Her Majesty The Queen officially reopened the RFH at a Royal gala concert.

A chorus of 600 singers was formed from;

            The Angmering Chorale

            Billingshurst Choral Society

            London Forest Choir

            London Philharmonic Chorus

            Philharmonia Chorus

            Royal Choral Society

            Voicelab Surge

The programme included Handel’s Zadok the Priest, and the fourth movement of Beethoven’s 9th (Choral) symphony, with text by Billy Bragg.

 

This was a tremendous occasion, and we were honoured to have been chosen to perform in this chorus in front of Her Majesty The Queen.
